Overview
Smart Teacher is an AI-powered educational platform connecting students with private tutors and curriculum-aligned course content across the GCC. Available on iOS, Android, and as a web dashboard, the app pairs a personalized, AI-driven home feed for students with a complete toolkit for private tutors — from profile verification and availability management to live sessions, lesson preparation, and grading.
The Challenge
Smart Teacher needed a single platform serving two distinct audiences — students discovering courses and tutors suited to their grade level, and private tutors managing their teaching practice — while supporting multiple GCC countries, school grade levels, and both AI-guided self-study and live one-on-one tutoring, all through a fully Arabic-first, RTL mobile experience.
Our Solution
AWAcyber designed and built a bilingual mobile application (iOS and Android) with a companion web dashboard, centered on an AI-powered search and personalized home feed that adapts to a student's selected grade level, country, and favorite subjects. The student side offers grade-level and country selection, AI-guided and live-taught courses, self-assessment quizzes, subscriptions, and a wallet. The private-tutor side includes a full profile and verification flow (specialization, city, hourly rate, teaching method, availability), a searchable tutor marketplace with filters for teaching method, rating, verification status and language, plus dedicated teaching tools — lesson preparation, task management, evaluation sheets, live-session hosting, and homework review.
