Overview
A Meta Ads programme for Al Butul Beauty Salon, built to turn local awareness into booked appointments. The owner wanted more reservations and a larger base of returning clients, driven by Instagram engagement rather than by a large media budget. AWAcyber ran the account on Meta's messaging objective so every result was a real conversation with the salon rather than a click. Across the ten ads in the performance export the account started 4,460 messaging conversations on $6,428.54 of spend — a blended $1.44 per conversation, and as low as $0.91 on the strongest ad. The best-performing creative, promoting the salon's nano-crystal hair extensions, alone produced 1,748 conversations at $1.27 while reaching 133,603 people at a 4.29 frequency. On the account itself the trade-off was deliberate and visible: as targeting tightened onto the salon's catchment area, reach fell to 138.4K (−61%) and profile visits to 20.2K (−30.5%), while the audience that remained engaged far harder — 1.0M views (+116.7%), of which 998,343 on Instagram, 5.4K content interactions (+112.5%) and 1.6K new followers (+149.3%). Fewer people saw the salon; far more of them became customers.
The Challenge
The salon serves one catchment area, so growth was never a question of reaching more people — it was a question of reaching the right people, repeatedly, without a media budget to waste. A salon's realistic customer lives within a short drive; spend that leaks outside that radius buys impressions that can never become a booking. The account had to cover that area densely enough to stay top-of-mind for repeat visits, while keeping the cost of each conversation low enough that a small budget still produced a steady flow of reservations.
Our Solution
AWAcyber structured the account around Meta's messaging objective, so results were counted as conversations with the salon rather than as reach or clicks. Targeting was pinned to the salon's catchment area and then worked deliberately hard: frequencies of 4.29 and 3.20 on the leading ads reflect a strategy of covering one tight local audience repeatedly rather than chasing new geography — the same choice that shows up as the account's falling reach, and the one that builds recognition and repeat bookings for a neighbourhood business. Creative was built around the treatments that actually drive enquiries — nano-crystal extensions, protein treatments, before-and-after transformations, and a weekend offer — and each ran as its own ad so that cost per conversation decided which stayed live. Underperformers were switched off as their cost drifted above the account benchmark, leaving three ads carrying delivery. The salon's much smaller Facebook surface grew from a low base over the same period, with visits up 268.4% and follows up 318.8%. Recent weeks ran at 96 conversations for $157.64.
