Overview

A performance-led Meta Ads programme for a beauty clinic whose growth had to come from Instagram rather than from budget. The owner wanted more bookings and enquiries, but the account could only support a $5.00 daily budget per ad set — so every dollar had to reach people genuinely likely to book a treatment. AWAcyber rebuilt the account around a messaging objective, running Instagram-first ad sets that push interested users straight into a DM with the clinic. The always-on lead campaign has started 2,850 messaging conversations at an average of $1.56 each on $4,439.38 of total spend, delivering 978,887 impressions to 209,905 people. Alongside the paid activity the clinic's Instagram account grew to 3.0M views, 310.7K reach, 49.7K content interactions and 3.6K new followers (+47.1%).

The Challenge

The clinic had no room for a large media budget — every ad set was capped at $5.00 a day, which leaves almost no margin for wasted impressions. The hardest part of the account was not the creative but the audience: broad beauty and skincare interests in the clinic's market are enormous, and at that budget a wide audience simply burns through impressions without producing a single enquiry. The account needed an audience narrow enough that a few dollars a day could still reach people actively considering a treatment, while staying wide enough for Meta's delivery system to keep optimising.

Our Solution

AWAcyber restructured the account around Meta's messaging objective so results were counted in real conversations rather than clicks or vanity reach. Audiences were tightened in stages — layering treatment-specific interests, narrowing geography to the clinic's realistic catchment area, and filtering by age and behaviour — then tested against each other in parallel $5.00-a-day ad sets, so the cost per conversation itself decided which audience survived. Weak sets were switched off as soon as their cost per conversation drifted above the account benchmark, and budget was consolidated into the winning always-on campaign. Creative was refreshed and rotated so the same tightened audience kept seeing new treatment messaging without fatigue. Cost per conversation has been driven as low as $0.87, with recent weeks running at $0.88 on $41.41 of spend.

Our Process

  1. 1Account and existing Instagram activity audit
  2. 2Objective reset from reach to messaging conversations
  3. 3Treatment-level audience mapping and interest layering
  4. 4Geographic narrowing to the clinic's realistic catchment area
  5. 5Parallel $5.00-a-day ad set testing, one audience per set
  6. 6Cost-per-conversation benchmarking and pruning of underperforming sets
  7. 7Budget consolidation into the winning always-on messaging campaign
  8. 8Creative refresh and rotation to prevent audience fatigue
  9. 9Ongoing weekly performance reporting against cost per conversation
